- Hi friend,
- Documentation is not needed to run CREDCARD. Everything
- is menu driven. You must allow enough disk space for CREDCARD
- to open two files. I have allowed for a maximum of 200 records,
- but actually you can expand it to the maximum of your disk space.
-
- The default use, A> CREDCARD, will create files CREDIT.DAT
- and CREDIT.IDX on the disk in DRIVE A
-
- You can add a parameter to the command line.
-
- A> CREDCARD B:
- CREDCARD.COM in DRIVE A with CREDIT.DAT & CREDIT.IDX on disk in DRIVE B
-
- or
-
- A> CREDCARD NEW
- ALL in DRIVE A with NEWCREDI.DAT & NEWCREDI.IDX instead of default files.
-
- or
-
- A> CREDCARD B:XX
- CREDCARD.COM in DRIVE A with XXCREDIT.DAT & XXCREDIT.IDX on disk in DRIVE B
-
- It is possible to mix and match in a variety of ways.
- Notice the proper use (placement or absence) of the COLON . It is
- used to change the location of the data files verses creating different
- data files (different from the default files).
-
- In essence a letter followed immediately by a COLON will
- select the drive to receive the data files. Any letters after the
- COLON creates new data files. If letters are are added without
- a COLON then new data files are created on the default drive.
-
- Happy computing,
